Terms of service
Last updated June 1, 2026
These terms govern your use of Demand Letter Kit. This is a summary for the demonstration build; a production deployment should use terms reviewed by counsel.
Not legal advice
Demand Letter Kit is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. We provide self-help document tools and general legal information. Using Demand Letter Kit does not create an attorney–client relationship. For advice about your specific situation, consult a licensed attorney in your state.
What we provide
Demand Letter Kit is a self-help tool that helps you create demand letters and provides general legal information. We also offer optional paid services: formatted document downloads and a certified-mail sending service. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for deciding whether and how to use any letter you create.
Acceptable use
You agree to use Demand Letter Kit lawfully and not to create letters that are harassing, fraudulent, defamatory, or otherwise unlawful. Demand letters should assert only legitimate claims and legitimate legal remedies.
Payments and refunds
Paid documents and mailing services are billed per the prices shown at checkout. If a paid document fails to generate or there is a problem with a mailing we performed, contact us and we will correct it or provide a refund. We do not use automatic subscription renewals without clear, separate consent.
Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is." We do not warrant that any letter will achieve a particular outcome. Legal information may not reflect the most recent changes in the law and may not apply to your situation.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Demand Letter Kit is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or any letter created with it.
